To our Valued Shareholders and Customers,
Looking back over the last month, I was pleased that Green Earth Technologies was able to execute on many fronts. April was a collective turning point for the company.
As many of you who were in  attendance know, we hosted our first Annual Shareholders Meeting at our corporate offices in Stamford, Ct. this month and we were quite pleased with the turnout. Our management team and Independent Directors covered multiple business matters and answered shareholders’ questions. We were impressed by the innovative ideas that came from a number of shareholders, many of whom have stepped up with prospective customers and channel partners for us. To those of you who have done so, we are most grateful for your valuable contributions.
During the month we passed qualification tests and warranty requirements for Robin America, Inc.'s Subaru Engines. This was one of our goals set out in 2008 to begin working with engine manufactures around the world to have G-Oil co-branded with their major brands of engines. The Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) industry is significant and requires a lot of resources to handle. This is the reason partnering with major players makes so much sense. Subaru Industrial Engines are manufactured by Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., Japan. Fuji Heavy Industries is a diversified manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, aircraft, eco-technologies and industrial engines and equipment. Subaru engines are marketed and supported in North America by Robin America, Inc., a subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries.
On the marketing side, promoting our G-Branded products began to take shape with many magazines and industry news placements. We had press conferences and a presence at the Long Beach, California American Le Mans Series event. Getting “Green” is only accelerating amongst the sports industry. Our G-Branded products make a perfect fit for many of these large sporting events. You will continue to see our high performance and appearance products develop amidst this market.
Also during April, we announced the availability of our new detergent products for power washers (see attached picture) on an exclusive basis through The Home Depot. Over the month we were overwhelmed with positive responses as to the efficacy of this product, and the repeat orders demonstrate the great job TTI has done to support our product launch. In this type of environment, acceptance of new technology and products can be challenging but we believe this will again make you proud of the depth of management experience at Green Earth Technologies which could facilitate such success in yet another new product launch.
Earlier in the month, we expanded our distribution capability by partnering with Sustainable Earth Products International, Ltd., of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (SEPI). This group will take us into Canada and the Caribbean. They are experienced operators and we are very pleased with the potential SEPI brings to Green Earth Technologies.
I would like our customers and shareholders to know how dedicated we are to increasing value in our business. The company is devoted and focused on producing quality products, customer support excellence, and building the G-Brand across multiple industries. It is our intention to continue to build our company at a pace commensurate with many young high growth companies. The economy looks to be stabilizing somewhat and those companies that have survived the last surreal year will come out much stronger having learned new lessons from the challenges we have all faced. As Warren Buffet says, “Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.” We at Green Earth Technologies are planting trees for our children and their children by helping to “Save the Earth while Sacrificing Nothing.”
